Northern Comeups is a multimedia platform dedicated to showcasing the stories and talents of lesser-known musicians from around the globe. Whether through our engaging “Comeup Stories” or insightful “Album Reviews,” we aim to bring attention to artists who deserve to be heard.

Our articles, crafted by our talented authors Ryan Henderson and Spencer Rioux, go beyond the surface. These pieces, often transformed into captivating YouTube videos, offer an in-depth look into the lives and works of these artists, providing a richer perspective on their journeys and creative outputs.

Founded in early 2022 by Taylor Michaels, Northern Comeups initially began as a company offering engineering services. However, it quickly evolved into something far greater. With fresh ideas came the need for expansion, and in 2023, the company underwent its first major transformation. This included bringing on Matthew Brown as co-owner, joining Taylor in steering Northern Comeups toward a new vision.

Now in 2025, Northern Comeups is thriving. From our deeply researched Comeup Stories and Album Reviews to our high-quality clothing line and custom clothing manufacturing services for artists and companies, we’ve grown into a multifaceted platform. Yet, at the heart of everything we do, one goal remains constant: showcasing YOUR comeup story.
